Fertility enhancing surgeries

Fertility enhancing surgeries are surgical procedures that correct an underlying condition causing subfertility. These surgeries increase the chances of conceiving and having a healthy pregnancy but they do not guarantee pregnancy. Like any other surgery they are associated with risk of infection, bleeding, injury to internal structures, etc. These surgeries are considered when the underlying condition like fibroid, polyp, endometriosis, etc., is affecting grossly the outcome of pregnancy or when medical therapy has failed to achieve the desired outcome.
